Give COD a floor and a ceiling. Small carts stop losing money to the courier’s collection surcharge, and large carts stop being returned as refused parcels. In between these limits, COD is profitable.

Couriers only collect cash in some countries. Cross-border COD leads to refusals and return-to-origin losses.
Hide COD above or below a cart total to reduce refusals on risky orders.

The fine print
Fee lines apply to orders placed in your store’s own currency. Multi-currency orders are tagged and listed instead, and are never silently charged.
The fee is added to the order right after checkout. This is why we also show it in the COD method name before the buyer chooses.
